About the event

On Thursday evening starting at 7:00 p.m. the 149th Grand Communication will host a Joint Queens Contest by the OES and HOJ. The festival will feature the Prince Hall Masonic Family Sisters at their finest. The attire is coat and tie.

On Friday, June 21, the 149th Annual Grand Communication wil officially convene at 7:30 a.m. with a Joint Public Opening Welcome program. The Grand Session will conventers, Districit heseption foworshide Mars, ad orned Earnd Grand Master. Masonic dress is required. The 149th Grand Communication will open for business. There will be a luncheon at 12:00 noon Friday.

The Saint John's Day and Memorial Service will be held on Friday evening, at 7:00 p.m. A Lodge of Sorrow ceremony will be performed. Masonic Dress with plain white aprons, gloves, no collars, or lapel pins is the appropriate attire. The High Twelve Club will sponsor a dance following the Memorial Service.

On Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. a devotional service will be held. At 8:30 a.m. the Annual Session wil convene. Luncheon wil be held beginning at 12:00 noon. The afternoon session wil convene at 2:00 p.m. for the completion of business.

On Saturday afternoon after the close of the Grand Session, promptly at 3:30 p.m., al Elected and Appointed Grand Lodge Officers are required to attend the Annual Joint Installation Ceremony. Al Master Masons and guests are encouraged to attend.

On Saturday evening, the Annual Prince Hal Masonic Family Banquet will be held at 7:00 p.m. The attire for the evening will be African attire to celebrate our heritage and Juneteenth. The Masonic collar is optional.

On Sunday, June 23, 2024, closeout meeting, SINE DIE, have safe travels home.
